Déjà sacrée l'an dernier, Game of Thrones sera encore le grand favori des Emmy Awards 2016, qui auront lieu cette nuit, au Microsoft Theater de Los Angeles (à voir en France sur la chaîne Série Club, à partir de 1h45). Avec 24 nominations dont 7 dans les catégories reines, la série phare de HBO aura pour principale concurrente l'excellente Mr Robot.
Du côté des mini-séries, The People v. O.J. Simpson : American Crime Story, reconstitution fascinante de l’affaire OJ Simpson (accusé du double meurtre de son ex-femme et son compagnon en 1995) en dix épisodes, sera attendue au tournant, tandis que Veep partira avec une longueur d'avance chez les comédies.
